THE FIFTEEN KNOTS:
Unlike that of the Modern Neo-Pagan Witchcraft System or Wiccan System of Beliefs, we do not pertain to the Wheel of the Year, and the Eight Sabbats within that system of Calendrical Year.
Our own System is that of Fifteen Knots within a Single Yearly Cycle.
The Fifteen Knots are as follows:
Lussinatta. (13th December). also known as Little Yule.
Midwinter. (24th December). also known as Big Yule.
Childermas. (28th December).
Hogmanny. (31st December).
Hansel Day. (1st Monday after 6th January). in England this date is known as Plough Monday.
Candlemas. (13th February).
Auld Wife's Day. (25th March).
Roodmas. (13th May).
Toad Fair. (1st New Moon in May).
Midsummer. (24th June).
Lillias Day. (27th July).
NicNivens. (13th August).
Micklemas. (29th September).
Martinmas. (11th November).
Andermas. (30th November).
These are the common names for these Feasts but also have a Clan significance with specific Egregores and Deities associated with each Feast.
